Kendrick Lamar’s New Album Finally Has a Release Date

Between Kanye West’s So Help Me God and Kendrick Lamar’s long-awaited good kid, m.A.A.d. city follow-up, this spring is shaping up to be a dream for rap fans. But while Kanye has said he’ll likely drop his new LP Beyoncé-style without warning, Lamar confirmed Friday that his record is due in just a few weeks.

On March 23, he’ll release a new collection of 16 songs that includes his most recent track, “The Blacker the Berry.” (Oddly, last year’s “i” doesn’t appear to have made the cut, judging by the iTunes pre-order tracklisting). The record doesn’t have a title (it’s just listed as [Untitled]) nor does it have much of a cover — for now it’s a big black square.

Carlos Morales wakes up every morning to his two two-month-old babies, Carlos Jr. and Tracy – and then rushes to the hospital to see his other two newborns, Erica and Paisley.

Although he is busy learning how to feed his quadruplets, bathe them and tend to their every need, he still can’t help but think of his late wife. Erica Morales, 36, died on Jan. 16, shortly after giving birth to the quadruplets. She never got the chance to see her babies or hold them in her arms.

Madison Police Urge ‘Calm’ After Shooting of Black Teen

Police in Madison, Wisc., are urging locals to “exercise restraint” after the fatal police shooting of a 19-year-old black man on Friday sparked multiple protests, including a sit-in at city hall.

“In light of so much things that have happened not just across the country, but in our own community, it’s understandable that the reaction at the scene and of some of our citizens is extremely volatile, emotional and upsetting,” Police Chief Mike Koval said Saturday, the Detroit Free Press reports. “That’s absolutely appropriate under these circumstances. We would urge, obviously, that everyone exercise restraint, calm and allow the Division of Criminal Investigation to conduct their affairs.”

Koval said one officer was responding to reports of a man jumping into traffic and assaulting a pedestrian. The officer followed the man, whose mother identified him as Tony Robinson, to his apartment and forced his entry after allegedly overhearing a disturbance inside…

‘Strong Evidence of Foul Play’ in Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Drowning, Aunt Says

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s aunt, Leolah Brown, publicly claimed on Saturday that her niece’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, is under investigation for “attempted murder” in connection with the 22-year-old’s near drowning.

Brown made the claim on Facebook after it was revealed that Gordon would be taking part in an intervention that will be aired during an episode of The Dr. Phil Show on March 11. A source told PEOPLE that a “distraught” Brown had already checked into rehab following the appearance.

Brown’s post, which was directed to Dr. Phil, took issue with the fact that Gordon was appearing on the show.

“Nick Gordon is under investigation for the attempted murder of my niece Bobbi Kristina Brown,” she wrote. “We have strong evidence of foul play. Until this investigation is completed by law enforcement, I would ask that you or anyone else not provide this individual a platform to spin this situation to…
